Thoughts About KapConsulting

Thoughts About KapConsulting

KapCounsulting, LLC is hired to lend its expertise to clients in need of insight they do not possess. In addition to expertise, KapCounsulting, LLC has a track record of past accomplishments and from businesses to personal services, there's a consulting opportunity for practically every industry (http://study.com/articles/What_Does_a_Consultant_Do.html).
As a Consultant of Team 2 – Operations Department for KapCounsulting, LLC, I’ve worked on the Operations Department Vision Statement, established contact with a new client looking to place a Radio Ad with Kaplan Radio and reviewed and worked on an established client’s mission statement with over the past week.
Vision Statement
Vision statements are future-based and are meant to inspire and give direction to the employees of the company, rather than to customers (http://www.businessnewsdaily.com/3882-vision-statement.html). The Operation’s Department of KapConsulting, LLC’s vision statement is “Our goal is to continue to provide a top quality consulting service to the not-for-profit organizations that we partner with by developing innovative solutions that meet and exceed our client’s needs.  At the same time, as we continue to grow the business our goal is to make our services available to the private sector as well”. A 'business vision' is a combination of both aspirational and tangible goals answering the question, "Where do I see the business going?"
Establishing contact with a new client
When developing a good client relationship with prospects and clients it is imperative that consultants demonstrate that the client’s needs come first. You have to see their issues as they do and be able to explain clearly solutions to help them-even if the solution comes from someone other than you. Being genuine in what you suggest and offer goes a long way toward developing trust with the buyer and establishing a good working relationship.
When delivering customer service it is important that consultants listen attentively, not take matters too personally, offer sincere apologizes, never say a request is not your job or responsibility and the customer is always right.
Mission Statement
The mission statement should be a clear and succinct representation of the enterprise's purpose for existence. It should incorporate socially meaningful and measurable criteria addressing concepts such as the moral/ethical position of the enterprise, public image, the target market, products/services, the geographic domain and expectations of growth and profitability (http://www.businessplans.org/mission.html). The Mission Statement should represent the broadest perspective of the enterprise's mission.
My current challenge is proper time management. Developing time management skills is a journey that needs practice and some guidance along the way. One of my goals is to help myself become aware of how I use my time as one resource in organizing, prioritizing, and succeeding in my studies in the context of competing activities of friends, work, and family, etc. (http://www.studygs.net/timman.htm). In an attempt to address this current challenge, I have practiced prioritizing my assignments both at work, home and school completing the most difficult task first.
